Description: Photocopy of a handwritten letter from A.D. Avery to Robert E. Graham, Clerk of the County of Marin, September 13, 1900. The letter details the mileage of the railroads within the boundaries of the incorporated town of Mill Valley. A.D. Avery, or Augustus D. Avery, was chief surveyor for the Tamalpais Land & Water Co.
