Description
Astor is writing in response to a request for ships to be built for Daschkoff. The requested boats would be nearly impossible for Astor and the other requests seemed too difficult as well. The boat was to go to Russia, carrying the General. A secret government mission seems to be in play. Astor's main request is that is the French capture the ships the British government will step in and get them back.
