Photograph dated May 1, 1962 shows, left to right, Dick Hunt, Capt. Charles Harvey, Mrs. Don Brammer, and Dr. J. E. Mertzel as they help prepare for the open house of the Sunland-Tujunga Fire Station No. 74. The new $63,000 fire station, located at 7777 Foothill Blvd, Tujunga, boasts 'the fastest ambulance the twin cities have ever had.'
