Photograph caption dated May 21, 1964 reads "At the recent USC swim team banquet at the Sportsmen's Lodge the national collegiates and AAU champions were honored for their spectacular 1964 season, with Rick McGeach [sic], left, and Roy Saari, center, enjoying the festivities with coach Peter Deland [sic], right." Sportsmen's Lodge is in Studio City.
