A letter and New Year card from Eileen Chang to C.T. Hsia, ca. 1982. In the New Year card, Eileen Chang mentions that she would delay publishing her English translation of "Hai Shang Hua" and publish her novel and essays collections first. In the attached letter, she talks about the content of the two articles, "Hua Li Yuan" and "Duo Shao Hen". She also mentions that Lu Yan would like to film her novel "Chen Xiang Xue". 張愛玲寄給夏志清的信和新年賀卡, ca. 1982. 在卡片裡, 張愛玲提到上次法國來信沒看仔細, 法譯"金鎖記"至今未定. 英譯"海上花"暫擱下, 要先出小說集散文集. 在附寄的信紙上, 張愛玲談到兩篇文章"華麗緣"和 "多少恨". 並提說盧燕女士有意拍"沉香屑".囑他與宋琪聯繫.
