Description
601 S Myrtle Ave, constructed 1887 picturted in teh 1890s. Built of pressed brick and Tehachapi greenstone, the building plans still exist. G.A. Lawrence, John H. Bartle and W.A. Chess in foreground. Standing next to carriage is G.A. Lawrence, whose hardware store is partially shown at far left. At right is J.H. Bartle and on his right is W.A. Chess. In the distance is the tower of the First Methodist Church.
