Description
Photograph article dated August 5, 1960 partially reads, "Arthur Laro Thursday was named editor and publisher of the Los Angeles Mirror by Norman Chandler, president of the Times-Mirror Co. Laro, who has been executive editor of the newspaper since April 18, succeeds Hugh A. 'Bud' Lewis, who retired July 15. Before joining the Mirror, Laro was vice president and executive editor of the Houston Post."
