Description
Silver-grey bike with black trim and red accents. 1913 or 1914. Logo: Harley Davidson written in red letters across the fuel tank; Harley Davidson Milwaukee also stamped on bottom of crankcase (bike's right side); "Bar and Shield" logo sticker on frame behind engine on right side [somewhat later; reads HydraGlide…1949 Patent Registered in Canada]. No obvious serial numbers on bike, but on cap for fuel tank: LE B8M ASF. Footrests on each side say Harley Davidson. Two cylinder V twin engine 45 degrees (reads "I 45° II"). Chain transmission, left side of bike. Loop frame. Tires: Firestone 28 x 3 gum dipped. Special features: chrome front headlight, fold up foot rests, license plate "CAL 56-43477" (yellow with black letter), kickstand in addition to luggage rack. Seat intact; leather with metal shocks, cracked open - stuffed with felt and animal hair (?). Bike rests on back kickstand. Handlebars curved and angled flat.
