Photograph caption dated August 17, 1956 reads, "Marine guards from Pt. Mugu examine crater by crash of Navy F-6F radio-controlled drone which apparently was shot down north of Littlerock near 110th and P streets by Air Force. Wreckage was scattered over wide area.
