Description
Kathie Fong Yoneda discusses her book, “The Script-Selling Game.” She begins by explaining the importance of having a short concise summary of a script, so it can be pitched easily and quickly. She talks about her position as the Director of Story Analysis and Development at Paramount Studios, and her previous job at Walt Disney Studios. She gives advice for how to get a script out in Hollywood without an agent. She describes the importance of the Writer’s Guild and recommends that any burgeoning writer join the group. She ends the interview by talking about the benefits of writer’s conferences and script consultants.
