Description
Connie and Richard begin the interview talking about the book’s narrative perspective, and how Richard has been able to make new contacts and friends by offering to engage with his readers. They move on to discuss Richard’s background as a professor at USC and UCLA before discussing the importance of Richard’s mother in his writing and career. Connie and Richard continue to discuss his teaching and writing balance and then return to the stories in the book. Connie closes the interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book.
