Description
The silent video begins after a ten second delay. The camera shows various signs and advertisements for events around Santa Cruz, before transitioning to show a large crowd of people at a cliffside lookout overlooking the ocean. Numerous cars and a tour bus are shown stopping at roadside motels, including the Brookside Lodge, and the Big Basin Lodge. People are shown walking through the forest and to an empty amphitheatre. The video footage suddenly changes to a man announcing something into a microphone before introducing women for a beauty pageant as they walk across the stage in various outfits. The video cuts again to show advertisements for the Santa Cruz Mystery Spot and transitions to a large crowd of people walking through the entrance and taking pictures along the way. The camera then cuts to the Antonelli Brothers’ Begonia garden before transitioning to the Santa Cruz boardwalk. Video shows numerous beach scenes and women in swimsuits, then cuts to people riding the train and other rides on the boardwalk. The video footage ends with the group getting back on the tour bus before the screen cuts out to grey.
