Photograph caption dated December 3, 1956 partially reads, "John Fitchner...of San Fernando Valley Council Boy Scouts, repairs boats at Camp Whitsett where hundreds of Valley boys discover wilderness's attractions every summer. Camp was named after sponsor W. P. Whitsett, pioneer Van Nuys developer and former Scout leader."; See images #00146631 through #00146637 for all photos in this series.
