Description
Sketch shows the development which is about to begin at the corner of Freeport Blvd and Portrero Way. The $850,000 center will contain a branch of the United California Bank, A Thrifty Drug Co. store and a MacFarlane's bakery and confectionary. Plans for the center were prepared by the Sacramento Achitect Dean F. Unger. At left can be seen a portion of the MacFarlane building which was designed by Jack McKay of San Francisco. It wil be located closest to Freeport-Portrero intersection's southwest corner.
