Description
Susan Braudy discusses her book, “Family Circle.” She begins by explaining that she is a personal acquaintance of Kathy Boudin, a left-wing radical who spent over 20 years in prison for murdering a policeman. She talks about how Boudin started getting into violent protesting after college. She discusses Boudin’s plan to “bring the war home” and terrorize Americans to protest the Vietnam War. Braudy talks about how Boudin and several men robbed a Brinks armored vehicle and killed a few workers and policemen. She ends the interview by talking about how Boudin’s son Chesa is also an American radical but isn’t as violent as his mother. The interview was probably taped in 2003.
