Description
Roger Lichtenberg Simon discusses his novel, “The Straight Man.” He begins by explaining that his book is a murder mystery about comedy and psychoanalysis, which follows his detective Moses Wine. He talks about the connection between therapists and Hollywood celebrities. He discusses who ends up benefiting from charity fundraisers. Simon talks about how he met with drug kingpins in New York City to do research for the book. He ends the interview by discussing why he decided to give Moses a love interest in this book.
