Description
Photograph article dated March 7, 1949 reads, "The 100 year old adobe ranch house at Rancho Amestoy in Encino, left, the limestone house, and the lake in the foreground are shown in this present-day photo. With assurance that the site will be preserved as a historical monument, plans for the restoration of the structures will be considered. Considerable interest centers around the warm springs on the rancho that fed the lake."
