Description
Connie and Fareed begin the interview discussing Chinese and Indian expeditions that preceded Europe’s Age of Exploration, and the impact their expansion would have brought if they continued. They go on to discuss China’s significant growth today and its implications for the country’s future regarding pollution of the environment and international relations before moving on to discuss how Western economies can lessen their reliance on government involvement. Connie and Fareed then bring up the topic of education and how important it is for the sake of American industries and competition before moving on to a discussion of geopolitics and history, and the rise of new countries on the international scene. Connie closes the interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book.
