Description
V1p320c In PHOTO ALBUM-VAULT: ** fc917.9461 A3, Vol. I, page 320 bottom. This photograph is contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco." Text written under photo: "16th & Mission 1918." Photo shows Mission Street looking south from 16th. The two buildings housing Lachman Brothers are on the left. The building on the corner has a billboard advertising the Pantages Theatre on its roof. People throng the sidewalks. Numerous conveyances are visible, some still horse-drawn. A United Railroads 1300 class car is going north on Mission.
