Description
EPH writes to astronomer Donald Shane, director of the Lick Observatory, explaining that he will represent the Mt. Palomar and Wilson Observatories instead of Ira Bowen. He also gives reports on the capabilities of the 48-inch telescope and progress with the 200-inch telescope's adjustments. He will have much news about the telescopes when he sees Shane, and hopes to have samples of images from the 48-inch.
