Description
EPH writes to astronomer Donald Shane, director of the Lick Observatory, appreciative of the visit to Mount Hamilton. He also sends a list of centers used for nebular counts. He notes that he did not find the object they had seen on the 20-inch survey plate or on the 48-inch plates and surmises that it must be a comet or a defect.
