Description
Students and Pepperdine staff surround Frances D. Smothers during the groundbreaking ceremony for the Smothers Theatre, for which she was a major benefactor. The Smothers Theatre was the first permanent fine arts facility on the Malibu campus. Sadly, Mrs. Smothers passed away before the building was completed.
