Description
Theresa Saldana discusses her book, “Beyond Survival.” She begins by explaining that she is an actress who was the victim of a physical violence. She describes how she was randomly attacked by a madman a knife. She discusses how she coped after the attack with hospital visits, family support, insurance claims, recovery groups, and therapy. She talks about how she did a movie for NBC entitled, “Victims for Victims.” She ends the interview by describing the lack of literature on coping with crime, which is what drove her to write the book.
