Description
Connie and Arthur begin the interview discussing Arthur’s history of working at the New York Times and who influenced him growing up, as well as the changes in journalism that have come about due to television and celebrity culture. They proceed to discuss the controversy over Jews and Jewish persecution during World War II and the resulting effects on the New York Times publication. Connie and Arthur then talk about his entry into and success in the journalist profession before revisiting the lives and careers of several prominent peers of Arthur’s. Connie closes the interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book.
