Description
David R. Cudlip discusses his novel, “Comprador.” He begins by explaining that his book is about six private financers who control worldwide trade markets. He says that although his book is fiction, he patterned it after real people and events that have happened. He explores what would happen if foreign countries do not repay their debt to the United States and the economy collapsed. He discusses how traders sell and price high commodities such as gold, silver, and platinum. Cudlip describes his years working in banking and discusses his reasons for wanting to write a book. He ends the interview by talking about how it is difficult for men to write from a women’s perspective.
