Description: The two-story home of Nathaniel C. Carter on his Willow Dale estate in San Gabriel (now San Marino, California), with a long porch and a garden bordered with a picket fence and rows of grape vines in front of it. A man and a woman stand on porch, a woman on horseback is near the side of house, and a cat rests near the driveway.
Title transcribed from photo-mount. Date devised by cataloger; Watkins made two trips to Southern California, in 1877 and 1880. Watkins New Series stereo #4401.
