Description
A 1913 Craftsman Bungalow style home located at 359 South Grand Street, Orange, California, August, 2003. Imaeg show front view of the residence which was designed and constructed by Orange Contracting and Milling Company for Robert C. and Cynthia T. Smith. The one and one-half story Craftsman has wide lap siding and a single-gable roof with side- facing vent. The main roof extends forward to form a full width porch supported by tapered piers of arroyo stone with wooden tops. The arroyo stone piers are connected by a slatted balustrade. A photograph of the home is on page 49 in the brochure from the 1920s, "Beautiful Orange Homes" which promoted the Orange Contracting and Milling Company. Photographic print Color 12.6 x 17.6 cm
