Description
Scope/Content: Manuscript. Title from head of main text. All pages ruled in brown ink. Two pages on the geography of Europe at the beginning of the volume in the same hand as the rest of the text.
Scope/Content: Manuscript work on the chronology of human civilization, apparently taken from the works of Gilpin and John Blair. The work is written in a fair hand throughout and enumerates human history from biblical times to 1778, including events in North America.
Condition: Bound in black leather with gold tooling on covers and spine, spine and hinges worn, gilt edges, marbled endpapers.
