Photograph of the attendees of the Automotive Accessories Jobbers Convention and their wives standing in a row under a brick arcade and posing for a photograph while sightseeing in New York City. Two men stand at both ends of the group and three women stand at center. The woman in center holds a bayonet. Another building is visible in the distance between the arches. A lens flare washes out the image between the man second from left and the woman third from left.
Text from negative sleeve: 449. East. New York. 1917. Was at the Automotive Accessories Jobbers Convention. After a meeting one day some of us (some had their wives along) went down to the Battery and famed old Brooklyn Bridge, where these pictures were taken. Do not recognize a singke[sic] one of them now, but recall that one fellow was the owner of the Milwaukee Auto Bumper factory, and had a nice look young lady with him. 4 negatives
