Description
Tamara begins the interview talking about her families’ connection to John Reed and how that helped influence her decision to write about Reed. Before the second commercial break, Tamara covers some of the major aspects of John Reed’s life from his childhood in Portland, Oregon to his work as a reporter covering the Mexican and Russian Revolutions. After the second commercial break, Tamara and Connie talk about George Sand and her impact on literature and her personal life. In this section, Tamara also discusses the connections that she sees that link Reed and Sand together.
