Photograph caption dated August 27, 1959, reads "Booked for child molesting - Robert Louis Ewing, 21, left, who police say confessed kidnaping [sic] and molesting Van Nuys and Long Beach boys, is booked on suspicion of child molesting and kidnaping [sic] at Van Nuys Jail. He will be arraigned today in Municipal Court. with him are Det. Sgt. R. T. Ruble, center, and Det. Lt. B. E. Hokom."
