Description
This nomination provides viewers a glimpse into the natural environment of the San Francisco Bay Area via a 1993 public program at Headlands Center for the Arts. Part of a public program series focused on the theme of Sustainability, this program is inspired by the beautiful landscapes of the Marin Headlands and the powerful feelings that they evoke, Buffy Sainte-Marie and Cathy Sneed discuss and explore health, one's internal condition, and their relationship to the environment found here in California. They ask the question of how one reconnects to a healthy environment, both literally and figuratively, to ensure soundness of body and mind are regained.
Headlands Center for the Arts California Revealed is supported by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.
