Description
Connie and Gail begin the interview discussing the stereotypes associated with black female (and male) sexuality, and how slavery, sexual violence, and sexual exploitation encouraged the formation of myths about African-American female sexuality that persist today. They proceed to talk about six uniform principles that African-American women have inherited from their African ancestors before proceeding to discuss Gail’s sources for the book and the topics of sexual harassment, interracial dating, and black female circumcision. Connie closes the interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book.
