2009-0369 In PHOTOGRAPH ALBUM: **qc917.9471 C6, pg. #46 In: Scenes of Santa Clara Valley To the left of the middle of the photograph stands a bull looking out of the photograph; to its right and behind stands a rider on a horse; behind is a long line of cows; on the right of the cattle is a wooden fence; about three horsemen can be seen among the cows. Also have negative: no. #26,938 (4 x 5 in.) "Magnificent Oaks in the back-ground. These trees yield vast quantities of acorns, which afford rich and nutritious food for live stock; the ground is literally black with them, some times they can be shovelled up." Charles W. Coe,
