To the left of the middle of the photograph stands a bull looking out of the photograph; to its right and behind stands a rider on a horse; behind is a long line of cows; on the right of the cattle is a wooden fence; about three horsemen can be seen among the cows.

"Magnificent Oaks in the back-ground. These trees yield vast quantities of acorns, which afford rich and nutritious food for live stock; the ground is literally black with them, some times they can be shovelled up."
