Description
Diane Rozas dsicusses her book, “American Venus.” She begins by explaining that her book is about model Audrey Munson who was a model for many painters and sculptors. She talks about how Munson’s face can be seen in many statues in New York, Washington DC, and even appears on the 50 Cent coin. She discusses how Munson got discovered in New York and worked as a nude model at the age of 15. Rozas describes how she got interested in solving the mystery of what happened to Munson, and even spoke with her friends and people who had known her. She ends the interview by talking about Munson’s transition into silent films.
