Photograph caption dated July 26, 1965 reads, "Redevelopment - The Martin Witkin building at San Fernando Road and Maclay Street is one of the first San Fernando structures to be rehabilitated under the Mission City's redevelopment plans. Construction of the proposed mall is set for March."
