Description
Photograph caption dated September 8, 1949 reads "Hubert E. Smollen, 23, of 15451 Romar St., San Fernando, takes a last look outside as Officer Jack W. Fletcher holds the jail door open. Smollen was sentenced to 60 days in jail for 23 traffic counts received since April 14. He was taken into Van Nuys court on seven traffic warrants."
