Description
M. K. Lewis discusses his book, “Your Film Acting Career.” He begins by explaining that this book helps guide people in their careers and advises how to survive in Hollywood. He talks about the importance of having a fulltime day job and doing theater and acting class at night. He says that people should get to know the city of Los Angeles first before pursuing acting. He discusses having a good agent, resume, and portfolio pictures. Lewis advises how to handle a casting call. He talks about how actors should be more business-savvy when it comes to their work. He ends the interview by discussing how to get into a union and join an actor’s guild.
