In this audio recording Peter F. Drucker discusses his ideas on management in his audiobook, “The Nonprofit Drucker.” This tape is part of the series, “Mission and Leadership.” It is entitled, “Leadership is a Foul-Weather Job.” Drucker begins by saying that a good leader should anticipate and innovate in times of crisis, when he or she is needed most. He talks about how problems of success can be more destructive to a business than failure. Drucker describes how schools change as ethnic demographics change. He says that a good leader should keep operating in times of success, and should always project ahead. He ends the talk by discussing how much time should be spent on marketing in a non-profit institution.
