Description
Dr. Suyin Han discusses her novel, “The Enchantress.” She begins by explaining that her book explores a mythical European world. She talks about how she incorporated androids into her book. She describes what it was like growing up in China as a mixed-raced child. She talks about other books she has written, including both fiction and non-fiction. Dr. Han talks about how she went to medical school and got married. She describes her ties to the Communist Party. She ends the interview by talking about her friendship with Madame Mao.
