Scope/Content: Manuscript interleaved with printed book.
Scope/Content: Printed copy of Riders (1684) British Merlin interleaved with the manuscript accounts and memoranda of "Ed. Berkeley," possibly Edward Berkeley of Pyll (ca. 1644-1707). Notes are mostly concerned with a accounts, farm yields and land, but other memoranda (such as agreements and personal reminders) are included as well. Place-names from various locations in southern England, particularly Somerset, are mentioned, included Pylle, Castle Cary, Donhead and Taunton. Entries written on blanks throughout the printed text follow the printed calendar opposite them.
