Description
View of the U.C.L.A. Westwood campus under construction, as seen from a residential area to the southeast. Left, center: Physics Building in foreground, is under construction. Building was built 1928-29 and designed by Allison and Allison, Architects. Behind it is the Powell Library, built in 1927-1929 and in the right center is Haines Hall, built in 1928. Both buildings were designed by architect George W. Kelham. Behind Haines Hall is Royce Hall, built in 1928-1929 and designed by Allison and Allison, Architects. These four buildings were constructed in a northern Italian Romanesque Revival style.
