Description
Malachy McCourt discusses his book, “A Monk Swimming.” McCourt explains that his book is a memoir of his life, which begins in New York City in 1952 at the age of twenty. He goes on to discuss his life as an actor, bartender, writer, and philanderer. He explains that his love of language drew him to theater and television. He ends the interview with reflections on his struggle with alcohol and how it drove him to become the man he had despised his father for being.
