B. Inoue, of Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd., writes Mr. K. Hopper replying to his June 11th letter. He discusses the development of human relations and the beginning of a "job improvement prize system for workers" in 1947 by SEI (Sumitomo Electric Industries). Inoue also talks about the Deming prize and quality control, and goes on to discuss TWI, MTP, and the CCS (Civil Communications Section). The letter contains Inoue's signature. The letter also contains an original handwritten "18" on the top, right corner of page 1 and markings.
