Description
The Valley to Vietnam series, produced by Sacramento Public Library, traces the arc of experience of Vietnam era veterans living in the Sacramento, California area. William Blaylock grew up in the sun of Southern California, but eventually found his way to I Corps Vietnam serving a member of a M-34 "Duster" team. His experiences in Vietnam were both profound and traumatic, setting the stage for his eventual publication of a well-reviewed book on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder ("Invisible: PTSD's Stealth Attack on a Vietnam Veteran") and the leading of writing workshops for local veterans.
