Description: May Festival Parade with horse-drawn buggy, Orange, California, 1933. Image shows woman dressed in 1900s-era costume sitting in buggy decorated with flowers, going down the 100 block of North Glassell Street. Theme for parade was Spirit of the Gay '90s. The May Festival, which began in 1933 and also included the May Day Parade, continued to be held until 1991.
