Charles writes Mr. Inoue saying that he received a note from Mr. Kurematsu with a picture of Inoue taken at the 16th anniversary of the O.C.C. He shares that when Mr. Hopper returned home from Japan, he telephoned Charles to talk about the marvelous treatment he received. Charles speaks of the agitation over imported cars, and the interest in what the Japanese are doing. Charles goes on to say that fortunately, Japan has not had the adversarial philosophy between labor, management, and government. The letter is handwritten.
